What is BlueScreen

BlueScreen is a top-down shooter with a big emphasis on bullet hell mechanics, reactive gameplay, and challenging difficulty. 

There are plenty of unlocks and a big variety of characters, each with their own unique design. Every enemy has their own unique abilities and attack patterns, and each encounter is unique and designed to be challenging and fun.
The game's concept is always evolving and being refined, so you can expect some changes as development goes on.

Story

Heiden has been struggling for money and after the news of his talented friend, Fink, being released from jail, he sees in him a golden opportunity. Together they join forces to make as much money as possible and escape the dread of having to crash at their friend Tavish's apartment.

But everything takes a turn for the worse after taking a job involving stealing information from a very notorious organization known as The Mask.

Development and Engine

I am using Godot 4.1!
Originally I was using Game Maker and even ported the game to Game Maker 2, but as time progressed and the project changed multiple times I ended up trying Godot and really liked it.
Highly recommend any new developers to try it out.

All assets available on this page or any related pages are currently free. I am not accepting donations for this project at this time. Upon the release of the 1.0 version, the game will be sold at a price that reflects both my valuation and the community’s feedback.
